I recommend bathing a dog with normal skin once a month with dog shampoo.  If you want to bathe more often than once a month, use a soap-free or moisturizing shampoo to prevent the skin from becoming dry.  When it’s time for a bath, make sure the water temperature is not too cold and not too hot.  Be extra careful as you wash around their ears.

Whenever I am bathing my furry babies, I sing to them, I make them feel very comfortable so they don’t feel nervous.  Afterwards, they will definitely show how relaxed they feel, by taking long naps and you will love to cuddle with your wonderful smelling dog.
